However, the arrival of the Fortuner 2016 in the Indonesian automotive market is still pending. Most of the SUV lovers of Indonesia must have tried to infer various details of the latest Fortuner from the Thailand and Australian debut. So, the 2016 Toyota Fortuner model for Indonesia will certainly vary from the Thailand and Australian models in few aspects. For the SUV lovers of Indonesia, here is a brief summary of the latest generation of Fortuner, which is expected to arrive on 23rd January 2016 in the national automotive market.
Toyota Indonesia is currently displaying a teaser of the Toyota Fortuner 2016 on its official website, which revealed that the latest Fortuner will be available in six variants for the national market. The dimensions of the vehicle are enough to reveal its grand stance, masculine character and performance. The masculine Toyota SUV measures 4705 mm in length, 1840 mm in width and 1850 mm in height along with a wheelbase of 2750 mm. To define the masculine design and bold line of the vehicle, Toyota has employed new smoke headlamps, new foglamps with chrome ornaments, new dark grey alloy wheels and LED daytime running lights in the SUV. Besides these, redesigned TRD Sportivo grille, new TRD Sportivo front/rear underguard and new 17-inch TRD alloy wheels are equipped in the 2016 Fortuner to provide a driving satisfaction with dashing exterior. The color options made available for this masculine Toyota SUV are Super White II, Silver Metallic, Silky Gold Mica Metallic, Dark Grey Mica Metallic, Black Mica and Dark Steel Mica
To give an aura extreme luxury with comfort, the cabin of the Fortuner 2016 is equipped with world class inputs and features. The cabin of the SUV is pretty spacious to offer comfort and luxury during long trips with friends and family.The car features 7-inch touch screen 2 din audio video system, 6 speakers, Bluetooth, tilt function, DVD, CD, ipod ready, Toyota dial shortcut and AUX/USB compatibility with steering wheel. Along with this, the car will also have black interior colour, Black leather seat having silver stitch, new entertainment system, Espresso wood ornament on the dashboard, ceiling air conditioner and power seat adjuster.
To ensure the safety of its occupants, the Toyota SUV will have advanced safety features like superior safety bags, Anti-lock braking system, corner & parking sensor and a lot more. In the Thailand market, the car is available with three engine options. But, for the Indonesian market, Fortuner 2016 will have only two engine options, which are a 2.7 litre 2TR-FE petrol engine and 2GD-FTV 2.4 litre diesel engine. The single variant of petrol engine will be paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, whereas the five variants of diesel engine will have either a 6-speed automatic transmission or 6-speed manual transmission. All the five diesel variants will also feature 4x4 motion system, which will not be available in the petrol variant of the Toyota Fortuner 2016. The price list of All-new Toyota Fortuner 2016 will start from Rp 458.200.000.
